Nkechi Taifa is a visionary and seasoned professional with 40 years of experience as an accomplished justice system reform strategist, advocate and scholar. She is an exceptional leader who excels at advancing creative, cutting edge approaches that encourage out-of-the box thinking and action. The wealth of her experiences over the past several decades have allowed her to pursue justice from different vantage points – as a litigator, lobbyist, academician, advocate, policy analyst, community activist, convener, and grant-maker.

 

She values the importance of collaboration and has had remarkable success mobilizing coalitions, engaging diverse stakeholders and being resourceful in forging new alliances with key influencers. As founder and chief principal of The Taifa Group, Nkechi brings passion, vision, substance and core skills to meet client needs, and implements novel and innovative ideas and strategies that bring value to the Justice Movement and society as a whole.
