Just sixty miles from Washington, DC, our beautifully renovated all-season vacation home, Legacy Dream Getaway, is nestled in the Southern Maryland suburb of St. Mary's County, walking distance to scenic river/bay/beach. Legacy Dream is a space of peace, tranquility, and renewal created for guests seeking a relaxing getaway. Legacy Dream Getaway is a sanctuary where you can reconnect with yourself and unplug from the bustle of everyday life.
Our space is just right for your mini retreat, strategic planning, book club, rites of passage training, study group, spiritual/religious/meditation group, team building, women’s/men’s affinity group, or health/wellness/wealth-building workshop and seminar.

"During 2019, the Men’s Society of the Temple of Nyame had the pleasure of holding our retreat at the newly renovated Legacy Dream Getaway. The guesthouse was excellent for our group needs. It provided our African-centered group with a welcoming atmosphere, and a beautiful, spiritual location for our 3-day gathering. The Getaway features a small conference room and another larger area, and it’s arrangement of rooms facilitates breakdown into smaller working groups. The spacious deck with a large gazebo provided us a wonderful opportunity to connect with Mother Nature. We loved the full service kitchen with modern appliances and room to cook. But best of all, we were able to work and relax in a beautifully furnished home, all at an affordable price. Rest assured the Temple of Nyame’s Men’s Society will return again and again to this beautiful, welcoming facility, and we recommend that you do the same."
